Curtains to clothes!

I made this casual blazer and skirt with thrifted curtains. Whilst I mostly used to practise garment construction, I’d definitely wear this to brunch sometime!

I used Simplicity 8558 pattern for the blazer:

And self drafted the skirt:

I used the slash and spread method to create a box pleat at the front:

Some mishaps with the skirt since I was using the scrap fabric from the blazer but…Et voila!
