Fun Festival Me-Made Fashion

Festival season is upon us! Here’s some garments I made, upcycled or styled at different festivals in the UK.

I’ve had good use out of this overdress I made! The pattern is a SewSewDef pattern by Mimi G which modified the #1016 Diana Dress. Here I team with a sparkly dress and headscarf.

51st State Festival, North London 2022

I made this casual blazer and shorts set, another Mimi G pattern Simplicity 8558 - she has a sew along too for this here.

I self-drafted this bow and put onto a dress I found in Oxfam, upcycled with an elasticated waist into a co-ord.

I actually preferred this on the mannequin- but hey ho! I had fun wearing it all the same.

Beautiful People Festival, East London 2022

Another upcycle, easier. This time I folded up the skirt and placed an array of flowers on secured with safety pins!

Wireless Festival, North London 2022

Nothing made here just like the colours and the way I styled this little fun number!

City Splash Festival, South London 2023

I quite like bows for festival fashion- may do something with this for my next festival! I’ve liked these looks but were all looks I had just made, not festival specific. For the next 2023 festival I attend, I’ll design and create some real fun fashion - I can’t wait! Do contact me if you’d like me to make you something!

kyalee@kyaarts.com - I’d be chuffed to! :D
